Start the New Year with an inspiring
Yoga & Ayurveda
study & practice day

with Dr Sonal Bhavsar and Zoë Martin

10th January 2009
10.00 - 17.00

Quaker Meeting House, 16 Queens Road, Leicester. LE2 1WP.

Ayurveda, which translates as "science of life," dates back 5,000 years to the ancient Sanskrit texts, the Vedas.

Ayurveda and yoga have influenced each other during their long history. According to both systems our natural state is one of health, happiness and an inner sense of well-being.  In a busy, stressful and toxic world, our physical and mental systems accumulate toxins which can result in illness and disease.

This day will focus on ways to keep the body and mind healthy, calm and balanced through the practice of yoga asana (posture), pranayama (breathing),   and an introduction to ayurveda (including an ayurvedic lunch).

The fee for the day is £45 this includes an ayurvedic lunch, refreshments and handouts.
